INTEGRATED SHOWER SYSTEM
Water weighs 8.35 pounds per gallon. Storing it high for a shower is a great way to get gravity to work for you... pouring it down for a refreshing shower in the great outdoors. But storing it high is a terrible place to put it if you want a peak performance rig. The Vortex H2O bumper holds 4 gallons of water in the front bumper. The lower position provides excellent center of gravity and our pressurized system provides a shower.
CURVED DESIGN
The Sluice bumper utilizes our unique design structure that is unlike any bumper on the market. The latticed design provides over 6" of vertical support. Torque tubes reduce deflection allowing for a lighter design. In fact, comparing Sluice's 62 pounds to the competitions 87 effectively gives you 3 gallons of free water weight. Add to all of that curved front and rear planes that contour to the Jeeps body and you see the real value. A bumper provides a cool or hot* shower, improved vehicle perfomance, and stunning good looks.
RECOVERY CAPABILITIES
Recovery is a fact of life on the trail. We dont make you choose between and hot shower and getting there at all. The Sluice still accommodates mounting a winch. Because having your cake and eating it too is a thing.
Sharp corners and loaded straps and ropes are a recipe for disaster. The is why all Torrix's Vortex bumper uses machined steel anchor hooks that are 1" thick. Compare to most bumpers that laser cut and weld a hook
